Who the Heck Am I?If you're reading this page, you either already know me and want to read what I have to say about myself or you just want to figure out who's behind this amalgam of a site. My name is Joe Kauffman. I am one of the rare Florida natives, being born in Tallahassee while my parents were attending Florida State University. Is it any wonder I grew up to be a 'Nole? My parents left Tallahassee when I was less than a year old, and, with the exception of four years of college (at FSU, of course), I have spent my entire life living in the Tampa Bay area. Being a Florida native, it wasn't until I was 18 that I saw snow. Well, my parents tell me it snowed in Tallahassee when I was a couple months old, but does that really count? Who the hell remembers what they saw when they were only a few months old? In 1998, I married my high school sweetheart Erika. We live together in our home in Clearwater that we bought in 2003.
